Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 29, 2026

Welcome to Mocker ("Mocker," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Voyage Dev. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mocker website at mockerinterviews.com and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Accounts and Registration

1.1 One Person Per Account

Each Mocker account is for a single individual only. You may not share your account credentials, allow others to access your account, or use another person's account. Accounts are non-transferable and may not be resold, sublicensed, or made available to any third party.

1.2 Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including any content submitted (such as resumes) and any interviews conducted. You must keep your login credentials secure and confidential. You agree to notify us immediately at support@voyagedev.io if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

1.3 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

2. Service Description and Usage Limits

2.1 What Mocker Provides

Mocker is an AI-powered voice-based mock interview platform that provides practice interviews and personalized feedback. The Service is designed to help individuals prepare for job interviews.

2.2 Plans and Session Limits

We offer the following subscription plans (subject to change):

  • Free Demo: Up to 2 sessions per IP address per day. No account required.
  • Starter Plan: $14/month — up to 10 interview sessions per month.
  • Pro Plan: $39/month — up to 40 interview sessions per month.

Session limits are per individual subscriber and are not transferable between accounts, people, or devices used by different individuals.

2.3 Fair Use

All plans, including high-limit plans, are subject to a fair use policy. The Service is intended for personal, individual interview practice. We reserve the right to investigate and take action if usage patterns indicate abuse, account sharing, automated access, or any activity inconsistent with normal individual use. This includes but is not limited to: multiple distinct resumes being used from a single account by different individuals, access from an unusually high number of distinct locations or devices, or session volumes that suggest multi-user access.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  1. Share, resell, or provide multi-user access to your account or subscription.
  2. Use the Service on behalf of others or allow others to conduct interviews using your account.
  3. Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service.
  4. Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service by any automated means.
  5. Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  6. Circumvent any access controls, usage limits, rate limits, or security measures.
  7. Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  8. Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  9. Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information to the Service.
  10. Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Our Property

The Service — including its design, software, AI models, branding, logos, and all related content — is owned by Voyage Dev and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership interest in the Service.

4.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service, including resumes, responses, and other personal materials ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use it solely to provide and improve the Service for you.

4.3 Feedback

Any suggestions, ideas, or feedback you provide about the Service may be used by us without obligation or compensation to you.

5. Payment and Billing

5.1 Subscription Billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file each billing cycle.

5.2 Auto-Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of that period.

5.4 No Refunds

We do not provide refunds for partial months, unused sessions, or remaining time on a billing cycle after cancellation. If your account is terminated for a violation of these Terms, no refund will be issued.

5.5 Price Changes

We may change our pricing at any time. Price changes will apply to the next billing cycle following notice to you. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

6. Suspension and Termination

6.1 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Account sharing or multi-user access
  • Abuse of the Service or fair use violations
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Non-payment

6.2 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@voyagedev.io or through your account settings.

6.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access the Service immediately ceases. We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including but not limited to Sections 4, 5.4, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11) will survive.

7. Data Handling and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

8.1 Service "As Is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8.2 No Job Guarantees

Mocker is a practice tool. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in job offers, interviews, employment, or any particular outcome. Mock interviews are simulations for practice purposes only and do not reflect actual hiring decisions by any employer.

8.3 AI Limitations

The Service uses artificial intelligence, which may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or imperfect feedback. You should not rely solely on the Service for interview preparation decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOYAGE DEV AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Voyage Dev and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your User Content
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

11. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11.2 Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in the State of California. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

12. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, by email or through the Service). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
